This position is responsible for delivering meals and other assigned items to clients in the Greater Dayton Area using your personal vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for delivering ordered meals and other assigned items to clients in Central Ohio using personal vehicle.
Check orders, count meals and beverages, and ensure accuracy before delivery.
Load and deliver meals, cases of Ensure, written materials, client contribution envelopes, and other items.
Ensure timely and safe delivery of items to clients.
Maintain communication with the dispatch team for any updates or changes in delivery routes.
Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any concerns during delivery.
Follow all safety and health protocols while handling and delivering food items.
Keep accurate records of deliveries and any client interactions for reporting purposes.
QualificationsRequired Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience
Experience in delivery or courier services using a personal vehicle.
Familiarity with the Greater Dayton Area and Central Ohio for efficient route planning.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with older adults and handicapped individuals.
Required Skills and Abilities
Ability to manage time effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
Strong organizational skills for checking orders and counting items accurately.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and handling written materials.
Physical ability to load and deliver meals, beverages, and other items safely.
