Responsibilities
The technician will inspect, service, repair, and maintain vehicle fire suppression systems and Fire & Life Safety equipment at customer sites. They are also responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, completing service reports, and providing customer support.
Requirements
Candidates must possess mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with machinery or similar systems, along with a valid driver's licence. While fire suppression experience is considered an asset, the company is willing to train individuals who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.

Are you mechanically minded and enjoy working with your hands? JoinLevitt-Safety as a Field Service Technician and build specialized skills in fire suppression and Fire & Life Safety systems.
This is a hands-on, mobile role working at customer sites across Sudbury. Fire suppression experience is an asset, but we’re willing to train the right candidate with mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do
Inspect, service, repair and maintain vehicle fire suppression systems and Fire & Life Safety equipment.
Work with systems from Ansul, Kidde, Fogmaker and Amerex.
Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues using hand and power tools.
Complete inspections, service reports and required safety documentation.
Maintain your service vehicle, tools and inventory.
Provide basic customer training and support.
Represent Levitt-Safety professionally at customer sites.
What You Bring
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with vehicles, equipment, machinery or similar systems.
Experience with mechanical or electrical systems and hand/power tools.
Fire suppression or fire protection experience is an asset, not required.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Comfortable using mobile devices and technology.
Valid driver's licence and satisfactory driver's abstract.
Ability to pass required background and drug & alcohol screening.
