The Funeral Director/Embalmer is responsible for the respectful care of the deceased, including embalming, preparation, and cosmetology. They also manage client family arrangements, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in community outreach to support business growth.
Candidates must hold a current Funeral Director & Embalmer license and possess at least 2 years of industry experience. A valid driver's license and strong professional communication skills are also required.
The Funeral Director/Embalmer will be responsible for caring for the deceased in a respectful manner while performing a variety of tasks including, embalming, removals and transfers, cosmetology, dressing, hair styling, and any other preparation required for the deceased. The successful candidate will have a current license in the applicable state and knowledge of the current regulations related to the funeral industry.
