Ko tā mātou mahi – About the role We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable professional who enjoys bringing structure, improving processes and building strong relationships.
As Senior Accounts Payable Officer, you'll own the end-to-end AP function across New Zealand and Australia, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time, while supporting the financial integrity of the business.
This role offers far more than business as usual. You'll help drive the rollout of purchase orders across the organisation, identify opportunities to improve systems and processes, and play an important part in how our Finance team continues to evolve. Ko tō mahi – What you will do
Own the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across New Zealand and Australia
Process supplier invoices, payment runs and reconciliations accurately and on time
Manage supplier and internal queries, building trusted relationships through responsive service
Monitor employee expenses and p-cards to ensure policy compliance
Supporting foreign exchange reporting and cashflow planning
Drive the adoption of purchase orders across the business
Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce risk
Support colleagues across Finance and share your knowledge with the wider AP team
Nā tōu rourou – What you will bring You'll be an experienced Accounts Payable professional who enjoys taking ownership and continuously improving the way work gets done. You’ll bring experience gained in a similar role within a medium or large organisation, where you will have managed Accounts Payable processes.
You'll also bring:
Strong ERP experience, ideally SAP
Solid Excel skills
Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
A continuous improvement mindset and confidence working across different teams
