The Director of Infrastructure Architecture will define the technical vision and roadmap for client-hosting platforms, including cloud, network, and storage foundations. They will lead major modernization programs and provide architectural oversight to ensure consistent, scalable design across the organization.
Candidates must have ten or more years of experience in IT infrastructure or enterprise architecture, with specific expertise in Microsoft Azure and multi-tenant hosting environments. Strong leadership skills and the ability to architect disaster-recovery solutions to meet contractual SLAs are essential.

About the role
KLDiscovery is hiring a Director of Infrastructure Architecture to set and own the technical architecture across the platforms that host client matters and data — including our Nebula and Relativity environments — and the cloud, storage, network, and security foundations that support them. This is a player/coach role created to bring deliberate, consistent architectural direction to a portfolio of client-platform initiatives.
The Director will be the senior technical authority for decisions that span multi-tenant client-hosting architecture, client data residency and sovereignty, hosting region strategy, performance for review and processing workloads, and storage tiering for client matters. They will translate business priorities to build a coherent target-state architecture. The right person is equally comfortable shaping multi-year strategy and rolling up their sleeves to guide an active migration.
We offer competitive total compensation that includes base pay, bonus potential, inclusive benefits, wellness programs, and perks. We use market and industry data to inform pay decisions while considering geography and labor markets, individual experience, and business needs. Individual compensation will vary, although a reasonable estimate of the current annualized base pay range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000.
