The Category Manager is responsible for the end-to-end performance of a large category, including negotiating trading terms and managing a diverse supplier base. They will partner with stores to manage product ranging and use customer insights to guide availability and category decisions.
Candidates should have experience in category management, buying, or merchandising within the retail or FMCG sectors. Strong commercial judgement and the ability to manage complex, high-volume portfolios and supplier relationships are essential.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Category Manager to join our Merchandise team on a Fixed Term Maternity Leave contract through to June 2027.
With the support of a Category Assistant, you’ll work with one of the largest supplier groups, requiring strong relationship management, clear communication and a hands‑on approach. This is a fantastic role for someone with strong understanding of category fundamentals and the energy to manage a fast‑moving, operationally complex portfolio.
