The Assistant Manager will administer and maintain enterprise Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services. Additionally, the role involves managing enterprise backup solutions, performing data restoration, and ensuring disaster recovery readiness.
Candidates must have strong experience with Windows Server environments, enterprise backup tools, and security frameworks like ISO 27001. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and vulnerability management tools such as Qualys or Nessus is also required.
We require an experienced L2 Windows Domain & Backup Engineer to manage and maintain enterprise Windows environments along with backup and recovery infrastructure. The role includes Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and core Windows services, along with enterprise backup administration, monitoring, and recovery operations. The engineer will also perform assessments, reporting, compliance activities, and enable automation using scripting/AI tools.
Technical Skills: Strong experience in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS/NPS; Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025); patch management tools (WSUS/SCCM/Intune/Bigfix)
Backup Tools: Experience in enterprise backup tools (NetBackup, Veeam, Commvault, etc.)
Security: Knowledge of ISO 27001 and security frameworks; experience with vulnerability tools (Qualys, Nessus)
Scripting: PowerShell scripting for automation
Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft certifications (MCSA, Azure Admin); certifications in backup technologies (Veeam/Commvault/NetBackup)
Environment: Experience in enterprise multi-domain environments; exposure to hybrid environments (on-prem + Azure/GCP); exposure to AI/automation tools
Communication: Strong documentation and reporting skills; effective communication and coordination with IT and business teams
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in backup validation, security compliance, and audit readiness
Resilience: Ability to work in high-pressure production environments with SLA-bound deliverables
Problem-Solving: Root cause analysis; incident management; proactive vulnerability remediation
