The role involves underwriting profitable commercial P&C insurance renewals and managing an assigned territory to ensure accurate processing of endorsements and claims. The underwriter collaborates with brokers and internal teams to maintain high service levels and profitability based on company guidelines.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the P&C renewal underwriting process. Participation in designated insurance seminars and workshops is also required.

The Jencap Renewal Underwriter is integral to maintaining our high level of service and responsiveness on current accounts. The Underwriter will work with agent, broker clients, and internal teams to underwrite profitable business consisting of renewal commercial P&C insurance within authority level.
The Renewal Underwriter works a hybrid schedule in the Santa Rosa, CA Office.
Requirements:
The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. Discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded. Jencap also offers a range of benefits and programs, based on eligibility, which currently include but are not limited to; comprehensive health care coverage, a 401k plan, and tuition reimbursement.
