Job Title: Telecom Systems Integrator (VZW) - NorCal

About the Role

We are seeking a Telecom Systems Integrator to install, integrate, test, and commission telecom network systems and related hardware/software solutions for Verizon (VZW) projects. Some exposure to AT&T is also great. This role requires hands-on technical work, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and Verizon stakeholders to deliver network-ready configurations that meet project requirements and quality standards.

About the Role

Install, integrate, test, and commission telecom network systems for Verizon (VZW) projects. Perform configuration, provisioning, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure systems are deployed and meet quality/safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• • Install and integrate telecom/network equipment per project design and VZW requirements
  • Configure and provision systems as needed (hardware/software settings, connectivity, service parameters)
  • Execute system testing and validation (functional tests, site acceptance support)
  • Troubleshoot faults across hardware/software/network components; drive issues to resolution
  • Maintain accurate records: work performed, test results, configuration changes, and as-builts
  • Follow safety practices and site access procedures during field work
  • Coordinate with engineering, project management, and VZW stakeholders during installation and cutover
  • Update technical documentation (wiring diagrams, equipment lists, checklists, runbooks)
  
  

Required Qualifications

• • Proven experience integrating telecom/network systems (field or staging)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using logs/alarms/standard telecom testing methods
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, routing concepts, firewalls)
  • Ability to read schematics, technical documentation, and vendor materials
  • Willingness to travel and work on customer sites as needed
  • Valid driver’s license (if required)
  • Professional communication and teamwork skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• • Experience with VZW/Verizon deployments or similar carrier programs
  • Familiarity with RAN/transport/core-adjacent systems depending on project scope
  • Relevant certifications or vendor training
  
  

Work Conditions

Field-based work with potential travel; may include working at telecom sites and following site safety rules.

Compensation & Benefits

• 40-42 hourly (travel time and tolls / parking are reimbursed)
• Lodging (if required for long or distant locations is also reimbursed with valid expense report and receipts).
