Hutchens Law Firm is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Hearings Processor to join our Foreclosure team. In this role, you will support our attorneys in managing civil foreclosure actions and play a critical part in ensuring hearings are scheduled efficiently and accurately.

What You’ll Do
As a Hearings Processor, you will be responsible for managing key administrative and legal support tasks, including:
- Reviewing files to ensure readiness for scheduling hearings
- Coordinating with courts and clients to obtain hearing dates
- Preparing and drafting hearing notices
- E-filing hearing documents with the court
- Updating case information, entering data, and performing status checks
- Maintaining and organizing team documentation
- Drafting correspondence with clients, courts, and third parties
- Supporting additional clerical or administrative duties as assigned
Note: Team members may be cross-trained and asked to support other areas based on business needs, providing valuable exposure and growth opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in an office or administrative environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred (but not required):
- Foreclosure or legal experience
- Experience with Excel and South Carolina Judicial E-Filing systems
Work Environment
This position is based in a professional office setting with standard business hours (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM). The role involves working with typical office equipment and may include occasional lifting (up to 15 lbs).
