The engineer will independently design and implement solutions for complex technical challenges within the DAOS Core software engineering team. Responsibilities include writing high-performance, scalable code, maintaining documentation, and developing unit tests.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science and at least 5 years of software engineering experience, specifically with C and Linux. Proficiency in distributed storage systems like Lustre or Ceph is required.

The DAOS (Distributed Asynchronous Object Storage) Core Software Engineering team is seeking an experienced software development engineer. This role requires hands-on software engineering experience in C, C++, and Python. This is a highly visible role that will require working across geographic boundaries at a fast tempo. Close collaboration with architects and program management is required. The successful candidate will have a proven track-record of hands-on development and productization of software.
