JOB PURPOSE
The Operational Risk Intern will support the day-to-day activities of the Operational Risk team, contributing to initiatives related to operational risk management, internal controls, governance, process improvement and risk reporting. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with different business and support functions, developing practical experience in risk management within a global financial environment.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Support the day-to-day activities of the Operational Risk team, including risk documentation, internal controls and reporting.
- Assist with the Operational Risk framework, including RCSA activities, action plan tracking, internal controls and operational incident management.
- Support process mapping, documentation and process improvement initiatives using methodologies and tools such as SIPOC, BPMN, Visio and ARIS Express.
- Prepare and update spreadsheets, dashboards, presentations and management reports.
- Maintain and organize policies, procedures, risk and control matrices, process flows and other governance documentation.
- Follow up with internal stakeholders to collect information, supporting documentation and action plan updates.
- Support continuous improvement, process standardization and automation initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Law or a related field.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, VBA, Python, SQL or automation tools.
- Familiarity with process mapping methodologies.
LOCATION:
Vila Olimpia, SP - Up to twice a week at the base office.
