Your mission

• Under the supervision of the Partner responsible of our Geneva Branch, you will have a key role in developing our Risk, Regulatory and Compliance services in the Romandie.
• You will advise leading financial services providers on complex financial market law issues, including FINSA, AML, sanctions, corporate governance, market conduct, cross-border matters and authorization procedures.
• You will carry out Risk and Compliance Gap analyses, recommend actions plans and support their implementation.
• You will advise and support our clients in their digitalization/cloud migration and transformation of their organization and processes, with a focus on their internal control systems, operational risks, outsourcing requirements as well as data protection.
• You will lead larger projects relating to the prevention of money laundering and respect of international sanctions as well as other compliance matters being in charge for the project outcomes and budget.
• You will mentor junior colleagues and play an active role in the development of the regulatory expertise of our team.

Your profile

• You hold a master’s degree in Swiss law and have acquired a specialization in the Swiss Regulatory and Compliance area (e.g. CAS in Compliance Management, LLM in Banking and finance Law).
• You have 6-10 years of relevant work experience in a Big Four environment, a Swiss authority and/or a financial institution in the areas of Regulatory, Risk and Compliance.
• You have leadership experience and are willing to grow within a specialized team.
• You are developing strong legal and regulatory expertise, are precise and technical and have an analytical working style.
• You are a team player and are also enjoying working independently with a client centric and solution-oriented mindset.
• You are open to challenges, can adapt quickly and are able to deliver high quality outcomes under pressure.
• You are a committed adviser, a quick learner and are used to dealing with demanding clients.
• You have an excellent command of French and English, as well as a good understanding of German, Italian being a plus.
