Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid Colorado driver's license. Required experience includes at least one year in recycling/solid waste and two years in construction, maintenance, or repair.

Performs a variety of routine and complex administrative, skilled, and technical, work receiving, processing, and shipping product received at the Gunnison County Recycling
Center.
Operates a wide variety of light, medium, and limited heavy equipment used in the maintenance and construction at the Gunnison County Landfill. Also performs manual tasks associated with equipment operations and maintenance and construction. Performs operator required maintenance on all equipment used.
The hourly pay range is from $24.19 to $27.54, depending on experience, plus full benefits.
The County pays monthly on the last week day of the month.
