Responsible for performing daily inventory cycle counts and monitoring stock levels to ensure accurate records and proper rotation. Duties include verifying shipments against documentation and maintaining treating lists for production needs.
Candidates must be able to accurately count, weigh, and measure items while examining materials for proper labeling. Physical ability to assist in stacking lumber or moving products by hand is required.
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Performs cycle counts as scheduled effectively and accurately in a timely manner.
Monitors inventory levels and stock rotations on all items to ensure materials are equally distributed
Creates and maintains treating lists for production/warehouse needs and demands.
Examine material for proper identification and labeling.
Maintains inventory of shipping materials and plant supplies for monthly reconciliation.
Maintains stock levels to not impede traffic flow or create hazards.
Assists in stacking lumber or moving products by hand as needed.
