POSITION SCOPE

We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented marketing leader to serve a growing financial advisory, valuation, and investment banking platform, with a dedicated focus on our Advisory & Valuation Services practice as our VP, Marketing. The VP will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (“CMO”) and play a critical role in shaping and driving marketing strategy, positioning, and demand generation efforts to support growth in complex, high-value service lines

The ideal candidate brings deep experience marketing professional services - preferably consulting, financial services, valuation, restructuring, or related sectors - and thrives in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.

Preferred Location: Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL. Needham, MA or Westlake Village, CA. The ideal candidate should be willing and able to travel to other office locations as needed to meet with employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Strategic Leadership

• Partner closely with the CMO to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with firm-wide growth priorities
• Serve as the marketing lead for Advisory & Valuation Services, translating business objectives into actionable marketing plans
• Act as a strategic advisor to practice leaders, helping shape go-to-market approaches and client engagement strategies

Brand & Positioning

• Strengthen market positioning for advisory and valuation offerings, ensuring clear differentiation in a competitive landscape
• Develop compelling messaging frameworks tailored to key audiences (e.g., private equity, lenders, corporate clients, legal stakeholders)

Demand Generation & Campaign Execution

• Design and implement targeted, multi-channel campaigns to drive pipeline growth and client acquisition
• Partner with business development teams to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals
• Leverage data and analytics to optimize campaign performance and ROI

Thought Leadership & Market Presence

• Elevate the firm’s visibility through strategic PR, events, speaking engagements, and industry partnerships
• Identify and capitalize on market trends to position the firm as a trusted authority in advisory and valuation services

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with digital, communications, and brand teams to ensure cohesive execution
• Act as a key liaison between marketing and senior business stakeholders
• Undertake other tasks as necessary to advance the organization’s strategic marketing objectives

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on professional services
• Prior experience in financial services, consulting, valuation, restructuring, or related industries strongly preferred
• Proven ability to market complex, high-value, relationship-driven services
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
• Demonstrated success in building and executing integrated marketing campaigns
