SUMMARY
GR Korea is seeking to recruit a Public Policy Manager for its office in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, to support its work across a range of Korean public policy issues.
We are looking for an individual with at least 8 years of experience in government relations. The selected candidate will be expected to provide outreach and engagement support for a variety of accounts across different sectors. English proficiency is a plus but not essential.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience—for example, in government, government relations, politics, or strategy consulting—with a strong understanding of Korean politics and the policy-making process
A credible and collaborative communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills; fluency in Korean is essential
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze and explain complex contexts in a highly adaptable manner for various audiences, including global and local executives, government stakeholders, and media
Proactive self-starter who can perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong academic background, preferably with a university degree in a related field such as public policy, economics, politics, communications, or international relations
English proficiency is advantageous but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop practical government relations strategies for clients and prepare tailored written reports
Lead the implementation of strategic outreach and engagement plans with policy stakeholders by leveraging extensive experience with key government stakeholders and bodies
Deliver strategic counsel to clients and manage client relationships with confidence and professionalism
Gather relevant policy intelligence in a professional and timely manner
Demonstrate strong project management skills and leadership, working collaboratively with colleagues
Contribute to new business development by generating ideas and proposals as part of the GR Korea and The GR Company team
