You will facilitate learning and nurture student potential while maintaining strong linkages with industry partners. Additionally, you will conduct industry or consultancy projects to ensure your professional skills and knowledge remain current.
Candidates must be trained in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering and hold a valid CAAS B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence or possess at least five years of relevant experience. Applicants who have passed at least two CAAS B1/B2 basic examination papers are also encouraged to apply.
In addition to your teaching duties, you will carry out industry or consultancy projects to help you remain relevant in your profession and to evolving changes in industry, and maintain strong linkages with industry and schools. You will also have the opportunity to have industry attachments or experience on a regular basis to update your skills, knowledge and practices of your profession.
You should be trained in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or related Engineering fields of study.
You should hold or have previously held a valid Aircraft Maintenance Licence (B1/B2) issued by CAAS or possess a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as an aircraft maintenance technician in line maintenance environment.
Candidates who have passed at least two (2) relevant CAAS B1/B2 basic examination papers are welcome to apply.
Those with good and relevant experience can look forward to Senior Lecturer or equivalent positions, with career development opportunities to leadership positions in the Colleges or Headquarters.
