The instructor will deliver a state-approved CNA curriculum through classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction. They are responsible for mentoring students, evaluating performance, and ensuring compliance with state and federal training requirements.
Candidates must hold an active Michigan RN license with at least two years of nursing experience, including one year in a long-term care setting. Experience in adult education or supervising nurse aides is preferred.

At Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids, we are looking for a dedicated and inspiring Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Training Program as a full-time instructor. This is more than a teaching position—it's an opportunity to empower adult learners, strengthen our healthcare workforce, and make a lasting impact in our community.

Every CNA starts with a teacher who believes in them. As a CNA Instructor, you will play a vital role in preparing students for rewarding careers in healthcare. Through classroom instruction, hands-on skills training, and clinical supervision, you will help students build both technical competence and the compassionate mindset that exceptional caregivers bring to their work every day. Your guidance will help students gain the knowledge, confidence, and professionalism needed to succeed in long-term care, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare settings.
