Responsible for the production of various components through assembly, bagging, and sorting at designated manufacturing plants. Ensures all products meet company and customer quality standards while maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, with one year of manufacturing experience preferred. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods and consistently lift between 25 to 50 lbs.

As the Assembler you will be responsible for production of various components and processes related to the company’s manufacturing contracts at the Sandusky Plant, Fremont Plant or Bellevue Plant. Typical tasks include assembly of parts, bagging of literature or hoses, sorting, and some tasks require operating simple machinery. The Assembler is expected to meet production goals and quality standards set by Goodwill and its customers.

Goodwill Industries of Erie, Huron, Ottawa, and Sandusky Counties is located in North Central Ohio, on the shores of beautiful Lake Erie. We employ 400 individuals in four business divisions: Retail, Manufacturing, Environmental Services, and Workforce Development. Our retail division includes seven retail stores and donation centers in Bellevue, Fremont, Huron, Norwalk, Port Clinton, Sandusky, and Willard, along with an outlet store located in Downtown Sandusky. Annually, more than 450,000 customers and donors visit our Goodwill stores. We operate two manufacturing plants in Bellevue and Fremont, where our workers assemble over 30 million components each year for local and global manufacturers. Over 2.4 million pounds of computers, metals, textiles, and corrugated paper are recycled annually through our Commercial Services division, also housed in Sandusky.
