Candidates must have at least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience and a high school diploma or vocational equivalent. Proficiency in reading schematics, using electrical test equipment, and knowledge of mechanical functions is required.

Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois. This range may not be applicable to other locations. The hourly rate for Illinois based employees for this role is $36.00/hour ($33.00/hour + $3.00 shift differential).

The Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) performs preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance to support safe, reliable plant operations. This role helps maximize production efficiencies, minimize downtime, and uphold safety and quality standards.
This position requires flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and on‑call rotation.
