Lead the design and delivery of multi-cloud cell placement and orchestration systems to support GitLab's scalable infrastructure. Build and grow an engineering team focused on cell infrastructure, reliability models, and cost visibility.
Requires hands-on experience designing and operating distributed systems using cell-based architecture and leading engineering teams in a distributed environment. Must possess strong knowledge of multi-cloud tradeoffs, SRE practices, and the ability to communicate with executive stakeholders.
