The Director leads the company's enterprise technology strategy and digital transformation, focusing on the modernization of ERP/EBS systems. They are responsible for managing the IT roadmap, overseeing cybersecurity, and aligning technology investments with business growth and operational excellence.
Requires a bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of experience leading IT functions and ERP platforms, preferably in manufacturing or CPG environments. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in SAP Business One and the ability to translate complex business needs into technical infrastructure plans.
The Director, EBS and IT is a strategic leader responsible for bridging high-level digital vision with operational execution. This leader drives both the long-term technology roadmap and the day-to-day performance of the company’s software ecosystem, including internal IT infrastructure, enterprise business systems (ERP/EBS), cloud services and distribution platforms. We use an architecture that combines a standard ERP at the core (SAP B1) with several API additions.
The Director, EBS and IT leads the organization’s enterprise technology strategy with a strong focus on modernizing ERP/EBS systems and optimizing the technology environment that supports core business operations. Partnering closely with the CFO and executive stakeholders, the Director, EBS and IT ensures that technology investments deliver secure, scalable, efficient, and business-aligned solutions that support both current needs and future growth. The position will develop and manage the technical roadmap.
As a key member of the leadership team reporting to the President, the Director, EBS and IT will spearhead the company’s digital transformation initiatives with a keen eye to meeting business needs in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. This role ensures that technology capabilities directly enable growth, operational excellence, and competitive advantage within the nutraceutical industry.
This position requires exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners. The Director EBS and IT generally works Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm but may be required to work on an altered schedule in order to meet the needs of the business. This position is in Olympia, WA, and local travel to other company locations and training seminars may be required from time to time. Work responsibilities herein represent typical elements and criteria considered necessary to perform the job successfully. Other duties may be assigned to meet emerging business needs.
Wage Range (DOE): $170,700 - $284,500 per year
