The Project Geologist will support project generation and regional geological assessments to identify mineral discoveries. Key duties include compiling geological datasets, conducting field mapping, and supervising drilling programs to progress targets from assessment to testing.
Candidates must hold a degree in Geology or Earth Science and have approximately 3+ years of exploration experience. Fluency in French is required, and proficiency in specialized software like ArcGIS and Leapfrog is highly advantageous.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Fortescue Morocco Exploration team as Project Geologist.
Fortescue is undertaking a large-scale regional exploration program across Morocco focused on copper, gold, iron ore and other critical minerals.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced exploration professionals on frontier exploration projects with genuine district-scale discovery potential.
You will be accountable for supporting project generation, regional geological assessments and field exploration programs while contributing to the evaluation and advancement of new mineral discoveries.
Reporting to the Senior Geologist, you will work closely with multidisciplinary technical teams to generate exploration targets and progress projects from early-stage assessment through to drill testing.
