Shift: Swing Shift - 2:15 pm to 10:45 pm (Monday to Friday) + Overtime (Till - 12:45 pm)
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Machine Operator will run repeat proven parts with low to intermediate complexity. You will receive directions and be overseen by the area Lead, Supervisor or qualified area Machinist.
Responsible for utilizing shop paper procedures including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling and non-conformance-related activities.
Ensure an accurate router accompanies all work orders.
Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of blueprint reading, precision measuring tools, and GD&T.
Inspect and measure parts to maintain statistical process controls charts with instruction and supervision from Lead, Supervisor or qualified Machinist.
Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining. Alert Lead or Supervisor to any issue(s) on job or machine.
Ensure company procedures and “best machine practices” are being followed and are in place at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED equivalent - Preferred, or Technical School - Preferred.
0-2 years’ experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment.
Ability to speak basic English language. Must have good communication skills must be able to read and write in English.
