~40 hrs/week
Responsibilities
The role involves matching supplier invoices against purchase orders and goods receipts to ensure accurate and timely payments. The assistant will also post and code invoices in Xero and resolve discrepancies between internal stakeholders.
Requirements
Candidates should have strong numerical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a focus on accuracy and process adherence. Experience in accounts payable, purchasing, or familiarity with ERP systems like Xero, WinMan, or SAP is desirable.
Looking for a role where finance meets operations?
At Infinitesima, we're building advanced metrology systems used by the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers to produce next-generation computer chips. Our technology helps enable the devices people rely on every day, from smartphones to AI infrastructure.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Accounts & Supply Chain Administrator to join our team in Abingdon. This is more than a typical accounts support role. You'll sit at the heart of our Finance and Supply Chain teams, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately while gaining exposure to purchasing, inventory management and business systems.
What you'll be doing
You'll take ownership of a key business process that keeps our suppliers paid accurately and on time:
Match supplier invoices against approved purchase orders and goods receipts
Verify invoice accuracy before payment
Prepare and maintain verified payment lists for Finance
Post and code invoices within Xero
Investigate and resolve discrepancies with internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate records of invoices processed
Act as a key link between the Finance and Supply Chain teams
Support process improvements as the business continues to scale
What we're looking for
You might already have experience within accounts payable, purchasing administration or finance support. Equally, you could be someone with strong numerical and administrative skills who enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment.
Essential
Strong Microsoft Excel or spreadsheet skills
Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Able to follow processes consistently and accurately
Comfortable managing your workload independently
Strong organisational and communication skills
Keen to learn about purchasing, invoicing and finance processes
Desirable
Previous experience within accounts payable, finance administration or purchasing
Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems such as Xero, WinMan or SAP
Understanding of purchase orders, goods receipting or invoice processing
Why join Infinitesima?
This is an exciting time to join. We're currently reviewing and modernising our ERP systems, giving you the opportunity to play a part in a significant business transformation and gain experience that goes far beyond a traditional Accounts Assistant role.
You'll benefit from:
Exposure to both Finance and Supply Chain functions
The opportunity to help shape future processes
Hands-on involvement in business systems transformation
A collaborative and supportive team environment
The chance to work within a growing high-technology business at the forefront of semiconductor innovation
Interested?
If you're organised, detail-focused and enjoy bringing order to complex processes, we'd love to hear from you.
