The engineer will serve as the US-based SME for the GCP platform, focusing on GKE workloads and infrastructure automation. They will drive engineering improvements, manage cloud and trading infrastructure, and act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues.

This role is focused on elevating Flow Traders' GCP-focused platform-especially GKE-while maintaining strong linux and networking fundamentals. Our trading platforms span both ultra‑low‑latency bare‑metal systems and modern cloud‑native services. This role bridges on‑prem and cloud environments, strengthens global platform standards, and drives high‑impact improvements that enhance reliability, reduce toil, and support time‑sensitive trading workloads.

Where candidates will fall within the range depends on a few different factors including but not limited to level of experience, location, and specific skill set. We also consider ourselves one global team, and to demonstrate that, all employees are eligible to share in the company’s success through an annual discretionary variable remuneration allocated based on company, group and individual performance and contribution.
Per NYC salary transparency law, the total compensation for this role includes a base range of $160,000 to $215,000 plus annual discretionary variable remuneration.
