The NOC Engineer is responsible for planning and implementing network changes, software updates, and troubleshooting escalated technical tickets. They collaborate with vendors for root cause analysis and create system support documentation to minimize network downtime.
Candidates need 6+ years of telecommunications experience and a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proficiency in layers 1-4 of the OSI model and experience with various transport technologies like MPLS, BGP, and DWDM is required.
