About the Role:

We’re on the hunt for a Night Operations Agent to keep LyLo Queenstown running smoothly while the rest of the world sleeps.

Working overnight shifts (11:00PM - 7:00AM), you’ll be the face of the hotel at night — managing guest experiences, keeping operations ticking, and jumping across departments when needed. This is a full-time role working 30+ hours per week. 

This is a hands-on, all-rounder role perfect for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being trusted to run the show overnight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a seamless guest experience — from late-night check-ins to early departures
• Handle guest queries, requests, and any issues with confidence and care
• Process nightly audits, transactions, and reporting accurately
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-presented public areas
• Assist with laundry operations and general upkeep of back-of-house areas
• Identify upsell opportunities and promote LyLo’s spaces and services
• Manage VIP arrivals and special guest requirements
• Monitor safety, report maintenance issues, and keep everything running smoothly overnight

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in hospitality and customer service. Hostel and hotel experience is a bonus.
• Confidence working independently and making decisions overnight
• A hands-on approach — you’re happy to jump in wherever needed
• Strong attention to detail, especially with financial processes
• Great communication skills and a natural guest-first mindset
