Job Summary
ERM is seeking a Senior Consultant to support materials compliance and product stewardship activities for globaltechnology-sectorclients.In this role, you willwork closely with Japanese manufacturers and other supplierstosupportrestricted substances compliance,environmental data collection,supplier engagement, andissue resolution.You willcollaborate withclient stakeholders, suppliers, and ERMcolleaguestohelp meetglobal environmental requirements while supporting broader sustainabilityobjectives.
The successful candidate will combine strong supplier management capabilities, technical knowledge of materials and chemical compliance, and proven project leadership experience.

What Your Impact Is
Key responsibilities include:
Lead or coordinate ERM project delivery for materials compliance and product stewardship work
Manage day-to-day engagement with Japanese manufacturers and other suppliers on environmental compliance requirements
Support collection, review, and validation of supplier materials and environmental compliance data
Provide consulting support, reporting, and recommendations to resolve issues and support client decision-making
Collaborate with client teams across supply chain, procurement, and environmental compliance
Support process improvements, system enhancements, training materials, and user guidance

5+ years’ experiencein materials compliance, product compliance, environmental compliance, supply chain management, procurement, manufacturing, or a related field
Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, or complex supply chains
Strong project coordination, consulting, or client-facing experience
Strong analytical skills, including experience working with data, reporting, and Microsoft Excel
Strong English and Japanese communication skills
Additionalexperience that would beadvantageous:
Experience supporting environmental compliance, supplier data collection, restricted substances, or product stewardship activities
Familiarity with global product environmental regulations and sustainability requirements
Experience using reporting, analytics, or business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
