The Practice Excellence Specialist manages professional practice resources and initiatives to advance safe, high-quality emergency nursing care. Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing and possess 5-7 years of recent experience as an emergency nurse. Strong skills in clinical evidence synthesis, technical writing, and content development are required.

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Practice Excellence Specialist is responsible for managing professional practice resources and initiatives for the Emergency Nurses Association by utilizing comprehensive, evidence-based knowledge of emergency nursing and emergency health care. The Specialist provides clinical expertise and collaborates with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure successful execution of projects related to emergency nursing practice, quality, safety and injury prevention.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This position is a salaried/exempt position. The targeted salary range is $85,000 - $95,000 annually. Compensation is determined based on a range of factors, including experience, education, certifications or specialized training, skill level and operational needs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business office equipment. Requires ability to communicate verbally and in writing in an exchange of information; collect, compile and prepare work documents; set-up and maintain work files, participate in meetings. Use of the computer, with repetitive motion, is approximately 80%.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Majority of work is performed in a general office environment. Occasional travel may be required.
