The Safety Ambassador is responsible for patrolling assigned areas to ensure a safe environment and deter unwanted behavior. They also provide customer assistance, document incidents, and deliver safety training to staff and community members.
Candidates should have prior experience in security or law enforcement and may need an associate degree or relevant certification. Strong communication skills and the ability to patrol on foot or by vehicle are required.

Safety Monitoring: Patrol assigned areas to deter unwanted behavior and ensure a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This includes being vigilant for any suspicious activities and reporting them to the appropriate authorities.
Customer Service: Provide assistance, information, and directions to community members and visitors, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Incident Reporting: Document and report any incidents or safety concerns, maintaining accurate records of activities during shifts.
Safety Education: Deliver presentations and training on safety protocols and best practices to staff, volunteers, and community members.
Collaboration: Work closely with local law enforcement, emergency services, and community organizations to enhance safety initiatives and respond to emergencies.
Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, conducting regular checks and assessments of safety measures in place
Qualifications
Experience: Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is often preferred.
Education: An associate degree or certification in a relevant field may be required.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in using technology for reporting and documentation.
Physical Requirements: Ability to patrol on foot or by vehicle, which may require a valid driver's license.
