The Wound Care Nurse is responsible for implementing skin preservation strategies and providing hands-on treatment for complex, non-healing wounds. They also serve as a clinical resource for hospital staff and coordinate multidisciplinary wound care rounds.
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree in Nursing and a valid RN license, with at least one year of related experience. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required by the start date, and wound care training must be completed within the first 90 days.
