The Direct Support Professional assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily living tasks such as housekeeping, personal care, and meal preparation. They are also responsible for transporting clients, organizing schedules, and maintaining accurate daily documentation in the electronic health system.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and auto insurance. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn electronic health record systems are required.
