Lead and support a team of Seasonal Hut Rangers to deliver operational priorities across the Kepler, Milford, and Routeburn Great Walks. Oversee day-to-day field operations and foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requires a natural leader with experience supervising field-based teams, preferably in conservation, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Must possess a full NZ driver license and the ability to work effectively with iwi, hapū, and the local community.

As the Supervisor, you will lead a team of Seasonal Hut Rangers based out of Te Anau, providing direction and hands-on support to deliver operational priorities across some of our iconic Great Walks—the Kepler, Milford and Routeburn—contributing to meaningful conservation outcomes in one of Aotearoa’s most renowned landscapes.
This role is essential to the success of the Te Anau operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the team is well-supported, coordinated, and set up to deliver effectively through the busy season (October – May).
The position will be focussed on:
