Essential Functions of the Role

Technical Liaison: serves as the primary technical contact for customers and partners.
Technical Presentations: prepare and deliver presentations that explain complex technical products and solutions to prospective and existing clients.
Customer Engagement: work closely with customers, the sales team, and engineers to understand specific needs and define system requirements.
Solution Design: assist federal government and military customers with the planning, engineering, and implementation of Gilat Defense solutions
Consultative Selling: help customers understand how Gilat Defense’s satellite solutions can enhance their current communications infrastructure.
Troubleshooting and Support: provide pre- and post-sales technical support, which can involve troubleshooting connectivity issues and managing bandwidth allocation.

QualificationsRequirements

Technical Expertise: strong background in satellite communications (VSAT), IP networking, with familiarity with Gilat platforms preferred.
Communication Skills: excellent verbal and written communication, strong presentation skills, and the ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Problem-Solving: ability to analyze and solve technical problems and deal with various concrete variables in complex situations
Experience: experience with military programs and government contracting is typically required for senior roles
Ability to work in dynamic environments, handle technical challenges, and adapt to new technologies.
Education/Certifications: A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field or commensurate experience
Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one) is a plus.

WORK AUTHORIZATION: Must be able to legally work in the US without sponsorship. Must be able to pass a post offer DOT drug test upon hire.
