The Technical Director provides strategic leadership over Technical Services, Quality, Regulatory, and EHS functions to ensure operational excellence and product quality. This role manages the entire product lifecycle from concept through commercialization while supporting plant operations and regulatory compliance.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with at least 10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing and 5 years in a leadership role. Expertise in formulation development, regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, DOT), and quality assurance systems is essential.
The Technical Director serves as the senior technical leader for CyCan Industries and is responsible for overseeing Technical Services, Quality, Regulatory, and Environmental Health & Safety functions. This position provides strategic direction and hands-on leadership across multiple departments to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, innovation, and operational excellence.
The Technical Director leads formulation development activities, quality assurance programs, regulatory initiatives, and technical support efforts while partnering closely with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and Executive Leadership. This role requires an individual with extensive formulation expertise, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.
The Technical Director plays a critical role in bringing new products from concept through commercialization, supporting plant operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring all products and processes comply with applicable regulatory requirements.

The two-acre site is about two miles north of Old Towne Woodstock, Georgia, on GA Highway 5, in Bell Industrial Park. The building was formerly occupied by the company that pioneered and developed the cylinder delivery system, which is in wide use throughout many industries today. With a combined 150 years in the aerosol industry, we have built our reputation and business on industry experience, knowledge and reliable product development and assistance.
