The faculty member will provide didactic and laboratory instruction in veterinary anesthesia and pain management to DVM students. Additionally, they are expected to develop an extramurally funded research program and contribute to university committee service.
Candidates must hold a DVM degree or equivalent with advanced residency training in Anesthesia and Pain Management. Board certification (ACVAA or ECVAA) and a PhD are preferred, with a proven research record required for the Associate Professor rank.

Opportunity at a Glance
The Department of Clinical Sciences at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) invites applications for 1 full-time faculty position in Veterinary Anesthesia and Pain Management beginning immediately. Rank will be dependent upon qualifications but can be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates must have a DVM degree or equivalent and advanced residency training in Anesthesia and Pain Management. Preference will be given to those who are diplomates of the ACVAA (or ECVAA), but candidates who are ACVAA or ECVAA board-eligible may be considered. A PhD is preferred but not required.

We are a small school with a diverse and proactive team focused on collaboration and providing a student and colleague centric environment of care and respect. You will join a team of 2 other anesthesiologist and 4 support staff colleagues. The position will work under the guidance of the Division and Department Heads.
