Provide telephonic first aid and treatment recommendations to injured workers using national triage protocols. Document clinical assessments and communicate care plans to customers and supervisors.
Requires a Registered Nurse license in a compact state and at least 3 years of clinical experience in urgent care, ER, or occupational medicine. Must have a nursing diploma or degree and meet specific home internet speed requirements.
The Advocacy 24/7 Triage Nurse provides telephonic first aid to injured workers on a case-by-case basis using nationally recognized standards of care to facilitate treatment goals. The position is an essential role, requiring the ability to work a variety of shifts to cover 24/7 duties including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $25.48 - $41.09 per hour
