The General Float provides backup support across various credit union departments including teller services, loan interviewing, and member assistance. The role involves performing diverse operational tasks and cross-selling financial products to members.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and 1-3 years of member service experience, with at least 2 years of cash handling or teller experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to maintain bondability are required.
Depending on operational demands, the General Float will provide assistance and backup support to various areas within the Credit Union.
*This position is part of the Saturday rotation schedules.
The General Float is expected to perform the duties of each of these jobs/areas on an as-needed basis:
Employees are required to maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive Cornerstone CFCU, member, employee, and proprietary information both during and after their employment. The functions of the position usually performed sitting but may require some amount of time standing. Some amount of stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting, walking, carrying and other movements may be required. Tasks involving working on a computer keyboard, typewriter, calculator, cutting, labeling and taping involve extensive wrist and hand movements. All individuals are required to be able to perform these movements without significant risk of injury to themselves or others.
