The nurse will coordinate comprehensive care for gynecologic oncology patients from diagnosis through treatment and surveillance. They will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide personalized care and perform triage duties in the clinic.
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing and a valid Michigan Registered Nurse license. A minimum of two years of oncology nursing experience is strongly preferred, along with Basic Life Support certification.

The nurses in our gynecologic oncology office work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to guarantee that our patients receive the best possible care. They are responsible for coordinating the care of our oncology patients throughout their journey, from the initial diagnosis to treatment and ongoing surveillance. Our nurses work directly with patients in the clinic and also perform triage work, ensuring that patients' needs are promptly addressed. They are dedicated to providing personalized care, addressing the unique needs of each patient, and ensuring that they feel supported every step of the way.

There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
As a Nurse with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. You'll use your critical thinking skills and the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You'll be responsible for upholding the standards of nursing excellence as described by the ANA, including the code of ethics. You'll be a vital member of our team and strive to achieve the best possible outcomes, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Required Associate's Degree Nursing
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree Nursing
LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire Required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days Required
2 or more years of experience as an RN working in oncology strongly preferred
