OVERVIEW: Provide sales and administrative support for the Vice President of Membership Development and the Account Executives (AEs) working as a team member with fellow support staff to complete various sales and marketing activities in a professional manner, in keeping with an A+ Superior organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SALES SUPPORT
Coordinate department calendar and provide advance notification to AE’s for all meetings, exhibits, and events. Make travel arrangements as necessary
Update Salesforce daily, including activities pertaining to leads/applicants and Account Executives, event and webinar attendees
Prepare and mail quotes, proposals, marketing assets and application packages for prospective members and groups
Prepare group proposals/indications
Qualify incoming digital leads and assign to account executives for follow up
Monitor Department email Inbox and voicemail. Forward to appropriate AE or the VP.
Plan, schedule, and make all preparations for events and exhibits, making venue and meal reservations, and maintaining RSVP lists
Promote events including formatting of pre and post-event communications, registration and landing pages.
Prepare monthly book of business reports by finder
Download monthly finder statements and upload to OnBase for payment by finance
Assist Finder Liaison with affinity group program administration
VICE PRESIDENT / DEPARTMENTAL SUPPPORT
Provide daily sales support to VP, Finder Liaison and Account Executives (AEs)
Schedule and make all preparations for Membership Development Sales Meetings
Prepare presentation and agenda materials
Track inventory monthly and reorder office supplies and promotional materials interdepartmentally
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED
Related college coursework preferred
3 years sales support or customer service experience in the insurance industry or healthcare field
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Excellent written communication skills, including vocabulary, spelling and grammar
Excellent oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Computer literate, proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Publisher; Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop; and internet skills
Ability to work both independently and as a team
Ability to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 Annually (Depending on Experience)
