The Asset Manager will oversee day-to-day operational maintenance, lifecycle works, and remediation for a passive infrastructure portfolio. They will also lead operational responses during incidents and coordinate effectively with stakeholders, suppliers, and field teams.
Candidates must have experience managing large or distributed infrastructure portfolios and possess strong commercial and project management skills. A proactive mindset and the ability to handle high-pressure situations, including participation in an on-call roster, are essential.

We’re looking for an Asset Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operational asset management across our passive infrastructure portfolio. This role is the operational face of Asset Management, working closely with customers, landowners, suppliers, service companies, field teams and internal stakeholders to protect asset availability, service performance and resilience.
About the role
As an Asset Manager, you’ll oversee maintenance delivery, coordinate lifecycle and remediation works, manage operational escalations and support incident and crisis response. You’ll play a key role in ensuring issues are resolved quickly, stakeholders are kept informed, and our assets continue to support reliable mobile connectivity across New Zealand.
You’ll be responsible for:
You’ll be practical, calm under pressure and comfortable working across a geographically dispersed infrastructure portfolio. It is essential to have strong relationship management skills, sound commercial judgement and the ability to drive outcomes through suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
You will have:
Mobile telecommunications infrastructure experience would be advantageous, but it’s not essential. What matters most is your ability to take ownership, build trusted relationships and keep critical infrastructure operating safely and effectively.
