JOUW ROL
De logistiek verandert snel. Volumes groeien, processen worden complexer en technologie speelt een steeds grotere rol. Dat betekent dat er continu nieuwe vraagstukken ontstaan. Hoe verwerken we meer volume zonder extra ruimte? Hoe zetten we automatisering slimmer in? En hoe zorgen we dat IT-systemen en operatie optimaal samenwerken?
Als Logistics Engineer werk je precies op dat snijvlak. Je analyseert processen, signaleert verbeterkansen en vertaalt ideeën naar concrete oplossingen in de operatie. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met operations, IT en collega’s van bol. om verbeteringen daadwerkelijk te realiseren. Afhankelijk van je ervaring werk je onder begeleiding aan verbeterprojecten of neem je zelf de lead in projecten.

Onze site is gelegen in Nieuwegein. Achter deze operatie staat een team van Logistics Engineers dat continu werkt aan het verbeteren van processen, automatisering en systemen. Daarbij kijken we ook actief naar de nieuwste innovaties binnen logistiek en warehouse technologie.
WAT GA JE DOEN?
Het werk is divers: van het implementeren van een nieuwe postsorter tot WMS-verbeteringen of het opnieuw ontwerpen van warehouseprocessen om de operatie efficiënter en schaalbaarder te maken. Verder ga je:
Ontwerpen, initiëren en implementeren van warehouse processen;
Proactief aandragen van oplossingen op het gebied van mechanisatie, automatiseringen en het warehouse managementsysteem (WMS);
Creatief inrichten en actualiseren van de warehouse lay-out en fysieke werkplekken;
Aansluiten in een multidisciplinair projectteam waarbij je samenwerkt met zowel CEVA als bol. collega’s;
Opstellen van procesbeschrijvingen en functionele specificaties;
Het maken van business cases ter verantwoording van projecten.
WAAR ZIJN WE NAAR OP ZOEK?

Afgeronde hbo- of wo opleiding in de richting van Supply Chain of Bedrijfskunde;
0-5 jaar ervaring als Logistics Engineer (of vergelijkbare functies);
Bij voorkeur ervaring met complexe (logistieke) operationele processen;
Goed analytisch vermogen en een planmatig en gestructureerde werkwijze;
Goede sociale en communicatieve vaardigheden;
Stressbestendigheid en een goed diplomatiek gevoel;
Vloeiende schriftelijke en mondelinge uitdrukkingsvaardigheid in zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal.
