Responsible for marketing, underwriting, and processing new business and renewal submissions for the Excess Casualty line of business. The role involves developing broker relationships and maintaining a submission pipeline to achieve production objectives.
Requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of underwriting experience with authority. Preferred qualifications include IIA and CPCU designations and a proven track record of relationships with professional liability brokers.

Job Description
Argo Group currently has a challenging opportunity for a Senior Underwriter in their Excess Casualty line of business. This is a production underwriting position responsible for marketing, underwriting and processing assigned lines of business. Responsibilities may also include participating in special projects and mentoring less experienced staff.
