The Contract Officer will partner with business units to provide expert procurement advice and manage the full procurement lifecycle, including tenders and contract administration. The ideal candidate holds tertiary qualifications in procurement or a related discipline and possesses experience in sourcing processes within a compliance-driven environment. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with proficiency in procurement technologies and document management systems.

Are you a procurement professional who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, delivering compliant sourcing outcomes and driving continuous improvement?
As our Contract Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting Business Units across the organisation to procure goods and services in accordance with legislative requirements, procurement best practice and the City's policies and procedures. You'll provide expert advice throughout the procurement lifecycle, manage contract administration activities and coordinate sourcing processes that deliver value-for-money outcomes for the community.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and contractors, you'll help strengthen procurement capability, mitigate risk and ensure transparency, accountability and probity in procurement activities across the City.
