The operator is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants and associated infrastructure. Duties include performing treatment process control, detailed sampling, monitoring, and utility services such as meter maintenance.
Candidates must hold a Grade 12 diploma, a valid Class 5 driver's license, and RCMP security clearance. Applicants must also be capable of obtaining various certifications including SCBA, First Aid, and specific provincial boiler and safety certificates.
