The bar back is responsible for maintaining bar inventory, stocking supplies, and ensuring the lounge area is clean and organized. They also provide direct customer service and assist bartenders and cocktail waitresses during their shifts.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of experience in the beverage service industry. The role requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Description
This position requires the chosen candidate to purchase a liquor license and complete alcohol training within 14 days of start date. Failure to do so by the deadline could result in immediate termination
FUNCTIONS STATEMENT:
? The complexity level ranges from a low level to a medium level that involves tracking stock usage history, ordering and stocking as needed.
? Contacts are on a face-to-face basis with guests and customers, fellow employees and management.
? The purpose of the contacts is to create a satisfied customer so as to encourage a high level of customer returns.
