The Staff Nurse is responsible for promoting and restoring patient health through the nursing process, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing psychological support. Key duties include implementing medication management plans, developing individualized care plans, and maintaining a safe, clean clinical environment.
Candidates must hold a valid RN or LPN license in Illinois and be proficient with Electronic Health Records (EHR). Bilingual skills in Lao or Spanish and a passion for working with the geriatric population are preferred.

Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is a fast-paced, community-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to fostering the integration of the low-income, Pan-Asian immigrant and refugee community into the United States. Established in 1981, CMAA has been a cornerstone of the Uptown community, providing programming for generations of low-income youth, adults, and senior citizens. We offer direct services, including afterschool & youth mentorship programming, job training & placement, elder care services, and social services such as citizenship & housing services.

Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members.

CMAA provides comprehensive services to foster clients' integration into U.S. society, including after-school & summer youth programming, job skills training & placement services, senior care services, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, citizenship, housing assistance and other essential services in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood and Elgin, IL. We also serve the small business community and immigrant entrepreneurs.
