Maintain a clean and safe environment by sanitizing classrooms, offices, and common areas. Perform floor maintenance including stripping, waxing, and buffing, while responding to emergency spill clean-ups.
A high school diploma or GED is required, and previous custodial experience is preferred. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and comply with OSHA safety standards.
Compensation Type:
HourlyClean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, office suites, common spaces, lunch, and break areas; empty all trash and recycling containers; wash window sills, walls, doors, and furniture; clean whiteboards and trays; vacuum, sweep, and mop all hallways, walkways, and stairways.
•Perform maintenance duties including stripping, waxing, sealing, and buffing floors; spot clean and shampoo carpets.
•Respond to requests for special moving, clean-up, or set-up tasks as assigned by Lead Custodian or M&O Supervisor.
•Respond to emergency spill clean-up requests.
•Report repairs to Lead Custodian or M&O Supervisor.
•Perform other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
•Employees are required to comply with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, OSHA standards, and wear personal protective gear if required.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.
